#GPULSECOVID19 with @LifeRisksPH

GPULSE which is short for Global People’s unexpected life events self-evaluation, is a free online self-evaluation that uses reliable and valid research instruments to help the community learn more about their well-being and mental health. Essentially, it's built as if one checks his own pulse, hence GPULSE.

GPULSECOVID19 was launched one week after community quarantines were implemented. From its launch to May 2020, we were able to provide adults, employees, students, and frontline workers with over 7000 self-evaluations for the Filipino survey and some 4000 self-evaluations for the English surveys.
After taking completing the GPULSECOVID19 respondents immediately receive well-being scores (e.g., anxiety, sleep, social media use, and well-being), they will also receive specific evidence-based tips to manage their mental health. If their scores are high, they are also encouraged to seek professional help. They will also receive an email containing a comprehensive list of ways to manage their well-being.
The expertise of four psychometricians whose names you can find on the slide has ensured that the instruments used for the platform were translated, scored, adapted, and proofread. We also collaborated with the leading psychologists in the Philippines: Prof Allan Bernardo, a Distinguished Professor of DLSU Manila.
GPULSECOVID19 is not the first of its kind. In April 2019 the first #GPULSE survey was launched to assess community mental health after a series of high-magnitude earthquakes in Luzon. This pilot project enabled us to respond promptly to build GPULSECOVID-19.
